The program leads regional and national efforts to help Post-9/11 service members, veterans from all branches of service including the National Guard and Reserve, and their families heal from the invisible wounds of war like traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress. During the event we hosted a military appreciation area where participants and spectators made care packages for deployed soldiers serving overseas. Approximately 100 BAE Systems volunteers, including family and friends, helped to assemble more than 1,000 care packages.
